Making Drake’s Scholarship Discoverable
eScholarShare is a repository open to all faculty, staff and students at Drake University. Our mission is to collect, preserve, and distribute Drake’s scholarship in digital form to a global audience and to provide reliable digital storage. Journal articles, conference papers, instructional resources, student projects, theses, dissertations, and university archival materials are all candidates for deposit.
Over 1400 theses & dissertations have been scanned into the repository so far, including the 1902 thesis written by then Drake student, Daniel Morehouse, who later went on to teach astronomy at Drake, and eventually became Drake’s 6th president.
Student posters presented at Drake’s annual Conference on Undergraduate Research in the Sciences (DUCURS) are also part of the repository, as well as award-winning entries to the National Student Advertising Competition created by students in Journalism & Mass Communication.
