OIT Collaboration: Reading Lists in Blackboard

Update 10/13/2016: Because Cowles library no longer subscribes to the service that made Reading Lists possible, the Reading Lists in Blackboard feature is no longer available.

Cowles Library is working with central OIT to make a new type of course content available to Blackboard course pages. Cowles Library Reading Lists allow faculty to add full-text article and e-book content to a Reading List within Blackboard directly from SuperSearch results. In addition, any URL can be turned into a Reading List item. Faculty will have the option of annotating Reading List items and controlling the order of their display.

And because everything takes place within Blackboard, off-campus students accessing their Blackboard courses will be able to access the Library resources.
